Spend E is an Android app for manually recording income and expenses. This policy explains how the app handles information. The app is published by Akanksha. For privacy questions, contact madboyshivi@gmail.com.
Information you enter
Transactions you enter, including amounts, dates, categories and optional notes, are saved in a database on your device. Your selected country, currency and display preference are also saved on your device. Spend E does not require an account, connect to your bank, or send transaction records to a Spend E server. We do not pass transaction amounts, notes, categories or balances to our advertising or analytics SDKs.
Advertising
Spend E displays banner and occasional interstitial ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, app interaction, approximate location inferred from network information, diagnostics and other data needed to provide, measure and protect ads. The app asks for advertising consent where required before requesting ads. You can review available choices using “Ad Privacy & Consent” in Settings. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be non-personalized or may not be shown. Read Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob policies for more information.
Optional usage analytics
Google Analytics for Firebase is included to help us understand general app usage and reliability. Collection is off by default. You can turn “Share app usage data” on or off in Settings at any time. When enabled, Firebase may collect standard app usage events, device and app information, identifiers and diagnostic data. We do not send your transaction amounts, notes, categories, balances or exported files as analytics events. Google processes Analytics data under its Firebase privacy and security information.
Export and sharing
You can choose to export transactions to a CSV file. The file is created on your device and shared only when you choose a destination in Android's share sheet. The privacy practices of that destination then apply to the copy you send. Spend E does not automatically upload the CSV file.
Storage and deletion
The app opts out of Android cloud backup for its local app data. You can erase your transactions in the app's Settings screen or remove the app to delete its local data. An exported CSV copy remains wherever you chose to save or share it, and must be deleted there separately.
Children
Spend E is a personal finance utility and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app's data practices change. The current version and effective date will appear on this page. For questions or privacy requests, email madboyshivi@gmail.com.
